Effective Date: February 9, 2018
What types of information do you collect?
We collect "personally identifiable information", "usage information" and "user generated video content" (e.g., videos that show users acting or displaying other talents).
"Personally identifiable information" is information that tells us who you are, such as your name, phone number, user/stage name, age, gender, and e-mail address. "Usage information" is information automatically collected by our web server (which may be hosted by a third-party) that your web browser makes available whenever you visit or use our Website or App, such as your computer's IP address or browser type. "User generated content" is content submitted by Website and App users in the form of electronically recorded videos.
Why do you collect such information?
We may collect personally identifiable information when you create an account with our Website and/or App, create a profile on the Website or App, edit or update your account information or profile, submit questions or comments via the Website and/or App, or if you voluntarily choose to provide it to us. For example, if you register with the Website or App, we may collect your email address along with a unique username and password. If you decide to create a profile on the Website or App, we may allow you to submit a photograph of yourself and provide other information about yourself.
We may collect user generated content when you record and submit a video and/or other related content to us.
You can choose not to provide personally identifiable information to us. However, if you do not provide certain information, you may be unable to create an account, complete a user profile or submit user generated content, so your ability to use the Website and/or App may be limited.
We may collect usage information anytime you view and/or interact with our Website or App or their pages, features and functionality. For example, we may collect your IP address, browser type, operating system version, and information regarding your browsing activities (e.g., information about the website that you visit before or after visiting the Website, information about the videos and ads you view and how long you view them, etc.) and geographic location.
This Website and App may also use "cookies" and other technologies to recognize users, customize their experience or serve advertisements. A cookie is a small text file that a website's server places on a user's computer, mobile phone or other device. The cookie transmits information back to the website's server about the browsing activities of the user on the site. This includes information such as pages and content viewed, the time and duration of visits and whether a computer user clicked on an advertisement. Cookies also can be used to recognize users and maintain data related to a particular individual, including passwords. In some contexts, such as where a number of separate websites participate in a network, cookies can be used to track a user across different sites. Cookies are used as a standard practice by many sites. If you would prefer not to accept cookies from our Website or App or any other website, you can modify the settings on your web browser. You may refer to your browser's online help feature or user manual for instructions on how to do this. If you refuse to accept cookies, it is possible that some portions of the Website or App may not function as intended.
How do you respond to "do not track" signals?
We do not respond to "do not track" signals.
Will my information be publicly available?
If you create a user profile and/or submit user generated content to us, certain personally identifiable information and user generated content may, depending on your privacy settings, be posted on the Website and App for other users to view. For example, your profile and user generated content may be posted to the Website and App for other users of the Website and App to view, along with your user/stage name and profile picture. If you change your privacy settings, your profile will only be accessible by those members who you have approved to "follow" you. Also, when you post a video, you may select either "Post Public" (which will make the video available to all users of Scenebot Stage, and allow industry professionals to view your videos and contact you) or "Post Private" (which will make the video available only to users who are mutually following one another).
User profiles will always be available to SceneBot (including its officers and employees).
How else do you disclose and use information collected via the Website and App?
Depending on your privacy settings, we may disclose certain personally identifiable information to industry professionals (e.g., casting directors, agents, and talent managers) so that they may contact you. The disclosure of such information to these individuals/entities is consistent with industry standard practice for individuals seeking representation by those types of professionals. Also, those individuals/entities may share your or your child's actor profile with other casting directors, agents, and talent managers.
For those who have a public profile (i.e., those who have not turned on the "Private" setting), we may also use certain personally identifiable information and user generated content for marketing purposes and in our other communications. For example, we may use certain profile photographs and names of individuals when sending communications regarding the Website or App and/or otherwise providing information about features and functionality of the Website or App.
We may also disclose certain aggregate information (e.g., aggregate gender, age, and region (city/state) information) to third party advertisers or sponsors.
We may also share information with third parties who provide services to us or on our behalf. For example, third parties who host the Website/App may have access to your personally identifiable information.
We use usage information to help us run and maintain our Website and App, customize the visitor's experience, study traffic patterns, and generally learn about the usage of the Website and App.
We might sell or buy subsidiaries, or business units. In such transactions, personally identifiable information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event that our assets are sold, personally identifiable information may be one of the transferred assets.
Are there any age restrictions for this website?
The Website and App are intended for a general audience. We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information from users of this Site who are under the age of 13.
If we become aware that a user of our Site is under the age of 13 and has submitted information to us via the Website or App, we will remove that child's personal information from our files.
How can I review information that you collect about me?
If you would like to review and/or request changes to any of your personally identifiable information collected through the Website or App, you may log in to your account with your user name and password and make any necessary changes to your account.
Is the Website and App secure?

As a result, we do not ensure, warrant or guarantee the security or integrity of such information. We will not be responsible for disclosure of any information due to errors in transmission or the unauthorized acts of third parties.
